September is finally here! I say 'finally' because I'm so ready for autumn and winter outfits to re-emerge in my everyday looks! I feel like everyone conforms to the stereotypical outfits throughout the summer season (bright colours, floral prints, and the general bohemian trend, to name a few types). This can be great, as it is summer after all, but I tend to go along the simplicity route instead. For much of the time, I'm less inclined to dress according to the season during summer, but from autumn, this changes completely. The beginning of September means the beginning of my favourite trends in fashion.

Autumn/Winter fashion is often dominated by layering, oversizing, and dark colours, giving women a more empowered and striking look. This, I love. I can't wait to express this style of fashion across my posts in the next few months! But for now, let's turn to today's look. For my final summer post, in celebration of one of the few bright days that I have had this season, this weeks look is simple yet summery. Over the past year, I've became more inclined to add statement pieces to my wardrobe. I saw these jeans on Asos and impulsively purchased them, as I was instantly attracted to their flared feature. I'm so glad I bought them, as they're so comfortable and different! The statement of the jeans was best paired with a plain white t-shirt, to keep the look balanced and not too over the top. A perfect look for a warm summers day!
