Blue Jeans, White Shirt

I couldn't help but channel massive Lana Del Rey vibes this week as a styled her literal lyrics: 'Blue Jeans' and a 'White Shirt'. In all honesty, I've never owned a pair of blue jeans before; I've always been too scared that I couldn't pull them off! But as culotte shaped trousers are a massive trend at the moment, when stumbling across these culotte blue jeans in zara, I bought them on impulse. I'm so happy that I did; though they are a statement trouser, I think they can be styled really well, especially with monochrome colours!

The City

There's nothing better than admiring London's famous tourist spots, despite the fact that I am now a Londoner! With this stunning setting just a short walk from where I live, I took a trip here today with my friend following Uni. In just one spot, you have an incredible 360 degree view of some of London's most renowned architecture, from the Shard to Tower Bridge to the Gherkin! It is most definitely one of my favourite spots to visit in the city.

Tide

Happy Monday everyone! I'm currently sat on a train after spending the weekend visiting my home city, Liverpool, which was lovely. Now that I live in London, I love coming home and seeing the river Mersey, so I thought I would visit our pier for photographs over the weekend. This weeks look features one of my favourite jackets from Zara which is the statement piece of the outfit. Maroon faux leather - what more could a girl ask for?! Admittedly, it isn't the warmest jacket, but I simply paired with a jumper underneath which was perfect!

Abstract

Hello!! Ahh, my first post after London Fashion Week! I apologise for taking a week to upload, but I was so exhausted after running around for six days straight! But I'll be posting regularly now, starting today! Today's outfit was dominated by Zara purchases (what a surprise). My friend and I spent the day in two of our favourite places in London: Shoreditch and Camden. There was so much cool street art that it would have been a wasted opportunity to not take equally cool photos!! I'm really happy with how these pictures turned out, especially as the abstract wall art juxtaposes my entirely monochrome outfit.

LFW Day 5

After five busy yet incredible days, London Fashion Week has come to an end. I've honestly had one of the best experiences of my life over the past week; not only have I had the opportunity to watch several shows and be the first to see new collections, but I've also been able to take photographs of amazing street style, some of which was on celebrities.

Yesterday I was able to see the final show of LFW, Xiao Li, which was a stunning collection of oversized, simple and structured clothing. I loved everything about it; in particular the representation of time through the detail on the clothes, from clocks, to dials, to numbers. It was a perfect way to end an amazing week.

So here are my final photographs from Day 5 of LFW. I also had the opportunity to take photos of Lou Teasdale and Lottie Tomlinson after the Ashley Williams show, who I love! Their outfits are always so cool and quirky, and so I love this first photograph I shot of them together.

I'm attending London Fashion Weekend on Sunday so I'll definitely be shooting some street style there, too! I hope you enjoy looking at the final LFW photographs as much as I did taking them!
